Leagues
There is something for everyone…
…in our 17 leagues, each with their own dedicated ice time. We have:
Each league has its own character – social, recreational, or competitive. Some leagues are casual and invite people to join as individuals, while most recreational and competitive leagues are generally joined in four-person teams. If you play with us for a season, there’s a very good chance you’ll find a team that needs you! A great way to meet potential teams is to sign up as a spare – you can do that here (link).
Check out their individual pages on this website to pick one (or more!) that’s right for you.
If you are just starting out or are new to our club, you might start with our newcomers programs or join Tuesday Takeouts. Read more about our programs for new curlers below.

I’m new! Newbie and learner leagues
If you are entirely new to curling or returning after years away from the ice, you might like to join our Try Curling program, lessons, and newbie leagues. Generally in this order, you might try:
Try Curling
A 2-hour introduction to curling with coaches, on the ice.
Newcomer lessons
5 weeks of lessons with qualified instructors to teach you the basics. You’ll learn about equipment, the rules and etiquette, how to deliver a stone, how to sweep, and team communication.
Newbie leagues
Short, 5-week leagues throughout our season. You’ll be mixed with other novice players to play games with help from instructors on delivery, strategy, and etiquette.
Casual leagues
We have some daytime and evening leagues that welcome novice players, welcoming people joining as individuals rather than as a team of four. Speak to your instructors about the leagues you might consider, or read about them in the league profile pages on this website.
