What are the differences in comparison to traditional curling?

  • Two player Teams
  • Throw with a stick or traditional delivery
  • Six end games, six rocks per end
  • Each player stays at one end for the entire game
  • Each player skips half the game
  • Sweeping and brushing is not allowed between hog lines
  • Players are not allowed to cross centre ice unless time-out is called
  • Cannot remove any rock until 3 rocks have been thrown

Stick Curling In Port Moody

In 2023 the BC Master Curlers Association added stick curling to thier provincial playoffs. A team from Port Moody represented Pacific Coast Zone 3 (Metro Vancouver) in the provincials in 2023/2024.
