Season Grand Aggregate Winner Playoffs (Team)
2023-2024 Team Morrison
  • A Division: Team Morrison
  • B Division: Team Reelie

League Rules

A minimum of two regular team members are required to play a game. Spares (max 2 per game) may throw either lead, second or, if the team is very inexperienced, third stones. Spares must be PMCC Members.

In the playoffs the higher positioned team gets the choice of Hammer.

A team that is more than 5 minutes late loses both hammer and choice of rocks.

  • A late player may join an end if they have arrived in time to throw their rocks, otherwise they must wait until the next end to participate.
  • When they arrive, they may be inserted into any position in the throwing order.
  • If a player has joined the game late the team may re-arrange their throwing order at the beginning of the next end.
  • If for ANY reason a makeup game cannot or is not played, then the team that was not able to play at the original scheduled time forfeits the game.  The team that was able to play the game as scheduled receives a win.
  • So that the next round robin or the playoffs can be scheduled makeup games must be completed before the last game of the current round robin.
  • The Grand aggregate winner will be determined on the final night of regular season play and before the start of the playoffs. For that reason, all makeup games must occur before the end of the regular season and before the playoffs.
  • If neither team was able to attend the scheduled game and no makeup game was played during the round robin both teams must report a loss.

Guidelines for 3rds: Under no circumstances should you start an end after 9:00 PM.

Playoff games will have a tie breaking mechanism announced before the game.

Teams receive 2 pts for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss. Every effort will be made by the league to get the results of every game recorded on the club’s website. In the unlikely event that the teams did not, cannot or will not report the result of a game before the end of a round robin and before the new schedule must be drawn up, then both teams will receive a loss.

If a tie still exists a tie breaking method, to be chosen by the league executive, (coin flip/draw to button) will be utilized.
